Vindura Virtual Challenges

2020 (Quarantine Edition)

About

VINDURA is a small events management business based out of Somerset, KY. The LC200 Challenge was created based on old notes for a live relay race around Lake Cumberland that has always been problematic in the real world for safety concerns. So we took it virtually and turned it into a challenge instead of a relay race. We strive to put on unique endurance events to challenge and motivate individuals. Our only income is from events and event consulting and in all honesty, we barely make a profit. We hope what we bring to the endurance community is a way to access unique local events which motivates us to keep going.

While being a for-profit entity, VINDURA also provides countless hours of volunteer work in the community from trail work at Pulaski County Park to providing logistical and operational support to the Lake Cumberland Performing Arts Camp. Likely if you have ever encountered a down tree on the trails at Pulaski County Park and it is gone the next visit, it's was the founder Aaron that removed it. Under normal circumstances our events go to offset the time involved supporting these community items.

In a nut-shell your entry goes to help keep VINDURA and the things we support going during these strange times.
